Elxr Bios
Elxr was formed from local musicians. They developed friendships while sitting in as guest performers at each others various live shows. Now combining forces, they present an often humorous, and always a magical stage performance. Each musician offers a unique character which makes for the perfect blend of Rock and Entertainment.

Shawn Courter

Shawn Courter is a experienced Vocalist / Guitarist. He has played for approximately 25 plus years and was a key member of Prophecy, Rock A Holics, Wide Open & Low Profile. He has an exceptional vocal range, which he demonstrates on songs, such as Blue Collar Man from Styx, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bon Jovi, and Various Beatles songs. Shawn, Dave, Tim, and Rick have played several specialty and benifit shows over the past few years together and are now joined to form a unique Classic Rock Band.
Timmy "Page" Braida

At age 5 started tinkering on the piano. At age nine took classic piano for three years. at 16 started playing guitar and been playing ever since. was a hired gun in "Location One" for a short stint.
His influences stem from: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep purple, Bad Company, Uriah Heep, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Eagles ect. Old school rock.
Top 5 guitar plaers: Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Ritchy Blackmore.
When he's playing, you can tell he's having fun and enjoying what he doing by the perspiration and enthusiasm dripping from his persona. His high vocal range and guitar playing added a asset for any band. He has also written some exceptional originals which we are currently working on for our show.

Dave starting playing in bands in Missoula at the age of 14 years of age. After playing in a Rock Band in High School, he took off for an education in electronics. While attending DeVry in Phoenix, AZ., he formed several bands and organized college sponsored keggar events like "Ball in the Fall" featuring 10 live bands. After graduating he moved to California to work in the electronics field, where he played in a variety of copy bands. In 1990-1995, David played in
AZ IZ a all original band which opened for Artists like; Edgar Winter, Leon Russell, Elvin Bishop, Lydia Pence (Cold Blood) and Eddie and the Tide. Since his return to Missoula, he has played with many talented Artists, John Flood (Flood Band), André Floyd (& Mood Iguana), Bob Kimbell (Weird Summer) and Funk NA . His ability to write, do song arrangements, organize, and entertain, brings additional character to this band.
Mike Doolittle

Mike began drumming in 67' influenced by Ringo then along came such bands as Jimmy Hendrix exp., Cream, Lead Zeppelin, also being influenced by jazz great as Louie Belson, the Dave Brubeck trio, Started playing professionally in 73'. Has played in such bands as Northern freight, Marshal Rose, Allen-Place band, Berry&the jaywalkers, 4yrs.as the house band the Saloon bar Seely Lake, Paradise Valley Band, Kostas, Wide Open, and played with many other groups. His vast experience and wide diversity in styles is a great asset for Elixir.
